At Molly’s Wax Shop we focus on the body. Our specialty is the fine art of the Brazilian wax using only the hard waxing technique, along with various versions from the basic bikini to the full on dare-to be-bare and anything in between – your comfort level, your choice. We also offer leg and underarm waxes, as well as several body/bikini waxing packages. Scheduling is online only, (we do not have a receptionist and are with clients throughout the day), and in addition to booking here, you can book through our Facebook page, or directly from Schedulicity. You must register first and then you will get a confirmation (make sure you receive this) after making the appointment as well as a reminder two days before your appointment. And if for any reason you need to cancel or reschedule (except same-day appointments) you may use that link to do so. Your credit card is used to HOLD the appointment, not charge you. Payment will still be expected at time of service. *Services are for women only. *No minors unless accompanied by a female parent. However, bikini services will not be performed on clients under 18 regardless of parent or guardian. *For the comfort of all clients, please do not bring your boyfriends, friends who are boys, husbands, or children into the Shop. *Unless the client is a minor, for the comfort of technicians and the privacy of clients as the treatment rooms are tiny, we respectfully ask no one to accompany the client into the room. *If there is no availability, check back often as the system automatically updates for cancellations and reschedules. *Appointments more than ten minutes late may need to be rescheduled.No Show Policy: No-Show Policy: By booking this service, you authorize this business to charge your credit card a fee of up to 100% of the scheduled value of the service should you miss your appointment without notification. After two no-shows you will be unable to schedule future appointments.
Cancellation Policy: For cancellations and rescheduling, please do so online except for same-day appointments. For these, leave a message about the cancellation which we will cancel for you, and you may make a new appointment online at your convenience. Also, for last-minute/same-day cancellations, Molly’s Wax Shop reserves the right to charge a 50% cancellation fee as it would be difficult to replace that missed appointment. Though we understand that life happens, after multiple last-minute/same-day cancellations you will be charged for your your last appointment and will be unable to schedule future appointments. Note: Multiple and consecutive reschedules are considered the same as cancellations and the same policies will apply.
We have neither a waitlist or receptionist so if there is no availability please check back periodically online as the system automatically updates for cancellations. You would be much quicker getting an appointment online, as we are with clients all day and do not have a waitlist during shop or after hours. Thanks for your understanding with our small shop:)
Parking: We have two spaces in front, but if both are occupied, you can 1) hold back a few minutes and wait for someone to leave – shouldn’t be but a few minutes as are appointments are in fifteen/twenty/thirty minute intervals and are staggered between technicians. 2) You are welcome to park anywhere on Person Street or surrounding side streets. They’re free! Make a day of it and explore our wonderful neighborhood! 3) After 1pm on Fridays you can park at the Draperies store next to the Wax Shop. After 5pm and on weekends you can park anywhere along our little row of stores unless you see a sign indicating otherwise.*And remember to add a little extra travel time for parking during peak season and lunch and dinner rushes from the surrounding bars/restaurants.
