Settling in…

Well it’s been about one month since we moved into our new digs and we are LOVING it! We’ve enjoyed entirely too many lattes and cinnamon scones at Yellow Dog Bread Company, imbibed in some delicious local brew at The Station, indulged in one or two chicken curried potpies at Piebird, and now my most recent indulgence is some fantastically placed and plumed highlights from my co-op neighbor, the fabulous Emma Carter (hair styling, make-up, personal styling, and an authentically lovely human being) – her website coming soon! So now together with the other co-op stylists of Local Salon, we are one happening Commune of Beauty! Feedback for the Wax Shop has been phenomenal – thank you all for such kind words and love. We have felt very welcomed in our new neighborhood and really happy to be a part of the growing historic Oakwood District of Raleigh. Thank you.
