April Newsletter – lying rodents, wait lists, and scrubs

I hope everyone is just as angry with that groundhog as I am. I think Punxsutawney Phil should seriously reconsider his career choice. Well, at any rate, the warm weather IS coming I am led to believe, so I’ll keep my head up and my Neti Pot handy!

This year has started off very well at the Shop, and apparently more and more people are realizing the beauty of waxing – yay! But that just means I’m getting booked more quickly and more often now so I just wanted to remind you to get your appointments in earlier rather than later to avoid letting your hair get too long. And even waiting until the week before is a bit risky for certain popular times like Friday nights and Saturdays. And I would hate to have a single hair fall prey to a razor or overzealous tweezers :)

A couple of housekeeping items:

Because of this increase in business and decrease in availability of spaces, I have created a WAIT LIST. Unfortunately it’s not through Schedulicity, so just email me through the contact form on the website to let me know which waxing treatment you would like and preferred time/day or first available. I am always notified immediately whenever there is a cancellation or a reschedule so I will contact the next available client on the wait list to take that spot. I hope this helps…

You may have started using some of the new salt and sugar scrubs from Gwynne Gardens and Southern Body Chef. I’ve been very excited to offer them to you and hope you’re enjoying the benefits of natural exfoliation, as well as the tantalizing aromas of essential oils! And now that you’ve had enough time to use them, I would love to get your feedback. Do you like the aromas? Are the scrubs too oily? Too gritty? Do you prefer them in the shower or the bath? All feedback is appreciated so I can make sure I have the best product for your skincare needs. Thanks!

As always, thank you for your support, your business, and the opportunity to build a relationship with you. As many of you know, waxing can be a pretty vulnerable affair and I just want to thank you again for putting your trust and faith in me.

See you at the Shop!
